| syang001 Posts: 1 | Teaching Position at Cheju National University, Jeju Island, Korea Teaching Position at Cheju National University, Jeju Island, Korea The English Language Institute at George Mason University is seeking a full-time instructor for a new English program at Cheju National University, Jeju Island, Korea. Mason’s English Language Institute (ELI) is collaborating with Cheju National University to create a special English program based on the methods, materials, and teaching philosophy of the ELI. Class size will be small – a maximum of 15 students. Teaching hours will not exceed 20 hours per week. Salary will be between 2,100,000 and 2,300,000 Korean won per month ($2,150 – $2,500 US). The instructor will be an employee of Cheju National University (CNU) and CNU will supply housing and pay 50% of the cost of health insurance. Round trip airfare is also included. Candidates must have a masters degree in TESOL or a closely related field and at least one year of experience teaching English to adults. Position will begin in July 2008.
